South Korean girl group Momoland is coming to the Philippines for the first time, it was revealed this Thursday. Momoland's Facebook page

South Korean girl group Momoland, best known for the international hit "BBoom BBoom," is coming to the Philippines.

Members Daisy, Nancy, and Ahin made the announcement in a Facebook Live video (skip to the 9:44 mark in the video below) Thursday night, revealing that they will be swinging by the country on August 18 to meet their Filipino fans.

"We really wanted to go to the Philippines," shared Nancy, whose resemblance to "Bagani" star Liza Soberano has been the subject of viral posts.

Daisy added that they have always been aware of the massive popularity of their group in the country, thanks to vocal fans who have been asking them to come to Manila.

Details about their upcoming visit remain under wraps, with the girls admitting that they were only informed of the date.

Momoland has enjoyed a rise in popularity among Filipinos with the release of "Bboom Bboom."

The song's dance was one of the latest challenges to join a long line of trends on the Internet.

The group also found themselves in the headlines after many fans pointed out Nancy and Soberano's supposed resemblance.

In the same Facebook Live video (above), Nancy said that it would be "awesome" if they get a chance to meet Soberano.
