It's unclear what Kris Aquino's "haters" did this time around, but she wasted no time in shutting them down by boasting of her new "multi-million peso and US dollar contracts."

She revealed on Friday that she'll be taking a short break from posting on social media about the things that "agitate" her.

She explained that whenever she reacts to these pointed attacks aimed at her, she always ends up either following it up with an apology, having to give a reason for it, or outright deleting it.

Apparently tired of doing so, she's now just going to let her new "multi-million ₱eso & US $ contracts do the talking" for her.

"Life has taught me enough to just 'unplug' for a few days so I won't post or react to things meant to agitate me that will later on waste my time explaining, deleting, or apologizing for," she wrote.

"Sorry, but I'm too smart NOW to fall for the trap of shining my bright light on people who can't stand the fact that the girl they were so excited to write off managed to do a 'David'."

She was making a reference to the well-known biblical story of David and Goliath to illustrate her point of overcoming the setbacks she faced after leaving television.

She claimed that she started from "zero," "battled cleanly," and can now "rightfully" claim that she was able to create a "new, profitable online platform."

Aquino has nearly 7 million followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram combined. Her YouTube channel, The Aquinos, has more than 34 million views to its name.

"I know this isn't forever," she said. "But while the numerous new endorsements, corporate partnerships, and licencing agreements continue pouring in, I will protect me people and my empire."

"And that means keeping quiet, being 'care bears' to the haters and just allowing my new multi million ₱eso & US $ contracts do the talking for me," she concluded her post.

Her post came days after she made headlines for providing a candid rundown of the cost of her outfit for a press conference for her new movie, Star Cinema's "I Love You Hater."

She said that her outfit's worth is similar to that of 3-bedroom condominium unit in Rockwell Center in Makati, said to range from around P30 million to P70 million.
