MANILA – Despite her erratic showbiz schedule, Jane Oineza is not about to sacrifice her studies for her career.

While she is busy doing the movie “Bloody Crayons,” the 19-year-old actress also sees to it that she is able to comply with all the requirements of her homeschooling.

“Mas pinili ko mag-homeschool para at least managed mo 'yung sarili mong time para kung kunwari may work ka today, puwede kang bumawi tomorrow. Do everything sa day na 'yon instead of missing out on a lot. I think mas nakabuti naman siya for me," she said in an exclusive interview with Star Cinema.

Determined to finish school, Oineza said she would also like to enter university someday. "I want to write, I want to direct, study business, puwede rin akong mag-engineer," she said.

Oineza also stressed that does not think she has missed out on a lot of things because she does not go to a normal school.

“Sabi ng iba kapag homeschooled, parang nakahiwalay sa mundo. Pero for me, hindi naman talaga," she said.

"When it comes to social aspects, hindi naman ako naka-miss out kasi kasama ako sa 'Goin' Bulilit' noon, may mga friends ako sa showbiz and outside. I have relatives, so I think na-cover ko naman lahat," she added.
