MANILA - An eight-year-old kid from Pampanga had "The Voice Kids" coaches Lea Salonga and Sharon Cuneta gushing over her after she sang a charming, high-pitched rendition of Rey Valera's "Malayo Pa Ang Umaga" for her blind audition.

"Sana piliin mo ako kasi in love na in love na ako sa iyo," the megastar told Hannah Faye Miguel, a native of Sta. Ana, Pampanga, following her performance on Saturday's episode.

"Nagustuhan ko ang song choice mo at nagustuhan ko rin iyong delivery mo, kasi ang delivery mo ay pambata. Hindi ka nagpapanggap na isang singer that you are not," Salonga, addressing Miguel, added.

Both coaches then gamely sang and danced to the Filipino nursery rhyme, "Tatlong Bibe." Miguel offered to teach them the popular dance moves, which has gone viral on the Internet after being seen on the ABS-CBN hit morning series "Be My Lady."

Miguel opted to join Salonga's team. She joins 11-year-old Gabie Mendoza on the Broadway star's roster of young artists.

"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
