She tried to repair her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Badi del Rosario, the son of Brunei's Prince Jefri Bolkiah.

But Arci Muñoz has revealed that she is now moving on from the failed relationship and has begun dating again.

Appearing on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, the actress, without giving a name, acknowledged she is seeing a businessman.

"If I am going out with someone, I don't think there's something wrong with that," she reasoned, teasing that she and mystery guy have been friends for a long time.

She added: "I've been single for almost a year and nakapag-move on na ako . . . I deserve naman to be happy."

Muñoz first shared her split with Del Rosario last January, saying that their problems stemmed from their lack of time for each other due to her busy schedule. Prior to the breakup, they were together for three years.

She once said their decision to end their romance was painful, describing Del Rosario as her best friend whom she wants to protect.

Muñoz was a guest of the late-night talk show to promote her upcoming movie with Gerald Anderson, "Can We Still Be Friends," from Star Cinema.

The flick, where she and Anderson play an ex-couple who try and stay friends despite the awkwardness, will premiere on June 14.
