MANILA - ABS-CBN personalities and programs bagged 27 awards at the 26th Golden Dove Awards of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) on Tuesday night in Pasay City.

The Kapamilya network won its ninth award as Best TV Station, while DZMM took home the Best AM Radio Station (Metro Manila).

Another highlight of the event was the awarding of the Ka Doroy Broadcaster of the Year award to Peter Musngi, dubbed as the voice of ABS-CBN.

Veteran broadcaster Ted Failon was named Best TV Public Service Host, while his program, "Failon Ngayon on DZMM," won Best Radio Public Affairs Program. His special report "Pamana ng Mina" won Best Documentary Program (Television).

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime" won Best Variety Program while "FPJ's Ang Probinsiyano" was hailed as Best TV Drama Program.

Actress and TV host Karla Estrada and comedian Bayani Agbayani were named Best Actress and Best Actor for Comedy, respectively, for the CineMo sitcom, "Funny Ka Pare Ko."

Angel Locsin was named Best Actress for a Drama Program for her performance in the "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode "Kotse-kotsehan," while Piolo Pascual was named as Best Actor for Drama Program (Television) for his performance for the "MMK" episode “Upuan.”
