MANILA – The daughter of Bangs Garcia with her Filipino-British husband, Lloydi Birchmore, has been baptized.

Garcia shared photos of baby Amelia’s baptism on Instagram, which shows her daughter wearing an almost similar outfit to the one the actress wore when she got baptized more than three decades ago.

“I’m so happy Amelia is baptized already!!! Gutted I couldn’t pass on to Amelia my baptism dress because it’s in Davao City but I’m glad anyhow I’ve found something quite similar to what I was wearing in 1987,” she wrote.

Garcia also shared her wish for baby Amelia as she grows older.

“May your heart be kind, your spirit strong to see the good and right the wrong. May Lord Jesus create an armour of grace and luck around you that will protect and keep you safe all your life,” she said.

“This is just the beginning of your walk with Him that will last forever. Congratulations on your baptism yesterday! Welcome to the family of faith,” she added.

Based on Garcia’s other post, baby Amelia was baptized in England where they are currently based.

Garcia gave birth in December 2017.
