MANILA - "Huling hirit sa tag-init," wrote actress Jessy Mendiola as the caption to a photo she posted on Instagram on Thursday of her flaunting her toned figure in a red, two-piece bikini.

The 23-year-old Mendiola is in Boracay with "You're My Home" co-star JC de Vera. They are also accompanied by the rest of the cast of the Sunday afternoon gag show "Banana Sundae."

On his own Instagram page, De Vera also shared a photo of Mendiola and urged his followers to vote for the actress as the sexiest woman in the country in the ongoing FHM Philippines poll.

"Let's make her number one this year!" said De Vera.

Mendiola and De Vera have been linked romantically. And while the two have dismissed the rumors, De Vera said that he treasures his friendship and the time he spent with the actress.

"I'm sure 'yung mga taong nakapaligid sa amin nakikita rin na we’re both relaxed and we’re both steady. Pero proud ako kasi never pa kami nag-away or ayaw namin na maging magkatrabaho alam mo 'yun. Kasi ang sarap lang sa pakiramdam na nagtatrabaho ka ng magaan," he said.
