MANILA -- "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate Marco Gallo finally opened up about his closeness with Juliana Gomez, daughter of celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres.

In an interview with the entertainment website Push, Gallo shared how he and Gomez first became friends.

"Noong una awkward kami, pagkatapos siya ang nag-break ng ice namin at naging sobrang close namin. After that, halos parang every time nag-uusap kami hanggang sa bigla na lang na sobrang comfortable na namin sa isa't isa.

"Tapos wala lang, she said, like, 'Marco, you wanna go to prom?' Simple lang. And I said okay. Parang ganon, walang halong malisya," he added.

When asked about the real score between them, Gallo stressed that he and Gomez are only friends, saying that he has no plans of courting her just yet.

"Iyong naisip ng mga tao, nagkamali sila na akala nila na kami na. Pero sobrang close lang kami and I am so happy and so proud. Thank you, Lord, na nakilala ko siya, na kaibigan ko siya," he said.

"Sa ngayon, hindi pa po [ako manliligaw] kasi di ba, sabi nila if in case in the future you want a steady and promising relationship, you have to build up a friendship first... So I am building a friendship with her. Let's see how it goes."
