MANILA - Comedienne Melai Cantiveros on Sunday called out a supporter of survey frontrunner Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for wishing her daughter, Amelia Lucille, be raped.

In a post on her personal Instagram account, Cantiveros posted a screen capture of a message from a Duterte supporter, who accused the couple of being greedy.

The woman also expressed her wish that the couple's daughter be raped.

Cantiveros and husband, Jason Francisco, are supporters of presidential candidate Mar Roxas.

"Hindi ako nakikipag away kahit binabash ako dahil si Mar Roxas ang napili at gusto kong presidente. Pero kung sasabihin mo saken 'sana ma-rape ang anak ko' -- ay ibang usapan na yan," Cantiveros said in her post.

She also called on her friends who support Duterte to call out their fellow supporter. "Sa mga kaibigan kong supporter ni Duterte tingin nyo ba tama pa tong ginawa ng kapwa nyong supporter?"

Cantiveros added that she is willing to file charges against the woman, who used the name Shawie Constantino Enriquez.

The person in question has already deactivated her Facebook account. According to Cantiveros, a friend of Enriquez messaged her and informed her that Enriquez's account has been hacked.

The comedienne, however, doubts this claim.

Meanwhile, Angelica Panganiban, who is a supporter of Duterte, also voiced out her support for her close friend.

In a comment on Cantiveros' post, Panganiban said people should respect other people's opinions.

"Nakakaloka naman ito! Pabaliw na mga tao. Personalan na. May kanya-kanya po tayong opinyon at gustong kandidato. Hindi tama na hilingin mong may mangyaring masama sa kapwa mo tao dahil hindi kayo parehas na presidente," she said.

She also expressed her disgust that some people would wish an innocent child harm.

"Gusto ng bawat kandidato na matigil ang krimen. Bakit mo hihilingin 'yun lalo na sa batang walang kamuwang muwang," Panganiban added.

Panganiban and Cantiveros are close friends, having worked together on "Banana Split."

Panganiban is also one of the godparents of Amelia Lucille.
