MANILA -- Spiral pole dancer Kristel de Catalina, who inspired "Pilipinas Got Talent" viewers not only with her talent, but her determination as a single mom, had a ready answer when asked how she plans to spend the grand prize as the winner of the talent search.

Seven years old pa lang po siya, so maraming pa pong gagastusin 'yung P2 million na 'yun," de Catalina told reporters shortly after her winning moment on Sunday night.

The 32-year-old dancer from Antipolo took the stage with a final performance that had colorful visuals of a mother with her child -- a clear indication as to whom she was dedicating her soaring act. This, she confirmed in her post-win interview.

De Catalina was the personal bet of judge Vice Ganda to win the entire competition. She was the comedian's choice for his lone "golden buzzer," which sends acts straight to the semifinals.

"Nagagalak po ako," she said, when asked about Vice Ganda's vocal support.

With her "PGT" win, de Catalina is poised for bigger opportunities ahead. But she isn't about to rest on her laurels. "Mas lalo ko pang paghahandaan at sasanayin ang sarili ko na mas maging magaling pa sa larangan na ito," she said.
