In a rare moment, the son of Jolo Revilla joined him for a sit-down interview on “Magandang Buhay” where they opened up about their father-son relationship.

Gabriel, 13, is Revilla’s son with his former girlfriend Grace Adriano, the daughter of actress Rosanna Roces.

Revilla described himself as a strict father who knows when to discipline his son.

When asked for a specific rule he strictly imposes on his son, Revilla said: “Ngayon, inalis ko muna ang social media sa kanya.”

“Before talagang nakatutok iyan sa iPad. At the same time, varsity player din kasi ito,” he added.

Although he envies his friends who are free to have social media accounts, Gabriel understands where his dad is coming from.

“Minsan [mahirap]. Every time I see people using social media, medyo naiinggit din ako,” Gabriel said.

Meanwhile, both also talked about the possibility of Gabriel venturing into show business as well.

Gabriel, for his part, said he is not thinking about following the footsteps of his father, grandparents, and great grandfather just yet.

For now, Revilla and Gabriel are happy to share bonding moments together outside of the limelight.

“Kapag may game siya out of the country, sumasama ako. Katulad noong sa Guam, magkakasama kami. Minsan sinusundo ko sa school. Ito hilig din nito kumain,” Revilla said.
