"Hanggang Saan," the crime-drama series starring Sylvia Sanchez as an accused murderer, concluded Friday with the central Edward Lamoste murder case closed, spurring opportunities for the Alipio family to achieve new dreams and finally live in peace.

Domeng (Yves Flores), Paco (Arjo Atayde), and Sonya (Sylvia Sanchez) are a picture of a happy family at the conclusion of 'Walang Hanggan.' ABS-CBN

The opening scenes of the April 27 episode were presented as a crime documentary, which recounted key developments in the case, including Sonya (Sanchez) being cleared of the allegations and Jacob (Ariel Rivera) being found guilty of killing Edward.

The fugitive Jacob did not go down without a fight, however, as he successfully abducted Sonya's sons, Paco (Arjo Atayde) and Domeng (Yves Flores). The mother's effort to save them results in a shootout, with Sonya and Paco injured, and Jacob fatally shot.

Five years later, Sonya and Paco are shown to have survived the incident. The two, along with Domeng, managed to not only live a normal life, but a prosperous one, with the sons excelling in their respective careers. Domeng became an architect, while Paco became a co-owner of the now-Vega, Alipio & Associates.
