A teaser for the upcoming mystery-thriller “Eerie” has been released online.

The one-minute clip uploaded on Facebook shows its lead stars Charo Santos and Bea Alonzo in an exclusive all-girls school. Both play nuns in the film -- Santos is the Mother Superior while Alonzo is a guidance counselor.

Directed by Mikhail Red, the movie is the first collaboration of ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema and Singapore’s Aurora Media.

A release date of the movie has yet to be revealed.

In a previous interview, Alonzo praised “Eerie” as one of her best movies.

“I can’t really share much kasi medyo may pagka mystery-thriller siya so hindi ko alam kung hanggang saan 'yung pwede kong mai-share sa inyo. But definitely, isa ito sa pinakamaganda na nagawa ko. It’s something that I would watch,” she said.

But more than the plot, Alonzo said what makes the movie truly memorable for her is the fact that she was able to act with Santos.

“Minsan nasa gitna kami ng mga eksena, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na siya 'yung kaeksena ko. Iba pala talaga siguro kapag ganun na karami ang pelikula na nagawa mo at siguro iba na nakatrabaho niya sila Mike de Leon, mga great actors of her generation, and of the new generation. Parang less 'yung work for me because parang nagfi-feed na lang ako sa energy niya,” she said.

Aside from Alonzo and Santos, “Eerie” also features Maxene Magalona and Jake Cuenca.
