MANILA -- Dreamscape Entertainment surprised fans on Monday.

The outfit announced that its new series, "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin", will begin airing on May 1, before "It's Showtime."

In the show's official media launch, Dreamscape also unveiled the stellar cast led by former lovers Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu.

The cast also includes Jake Cuenca, Coleen Garcia, Nicco Manalo, Ivan Carpiet, Andrea Brillantes, and Grae Fernandez.

Industry veterans Gina Pareño, Dante Rivero, Bing Loyzaga, Michael De Mesa, Ayen Minji-Laurel, and Daniel Fernando will also bring their acting savvy to the much anticipated show.

Directed by Dan Villegas and Onat Diaz, "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" will revolve around the story of childhood friends Bianca (Chiu) and Gabriel (Anderson), triathletes who are both determined to give a brighter future future to their families.
