Kim Chiu, whose string of hit horror films has made her an emerging "queen" of the genre, is glad that her encounter with the supernatural is confined to her roles on screen, and never in real life.

In an interview on "Gandang Gabi Vice" that aired Sunday, to promote her just-released film "Da One That Ghost Away," the 28-year-old actress said she has yet to experience seeing or feeling an actual "ghost."

Unknown to Chiu, she would came face to face with one, as host and comedian Vice Ganda had prepared a prank for her.

In the middle of the interview, an old lady dressed a ghost spooked Chiu from behind her seat, sending her running off the stage and behind the cameras.

"Matatakutin ako," said Chiu, who took a while before settling back to her seat, beside her co-star Ryan Bang.
