MANILA – Angel Locsin was treated to a surprise birthday party on Saturday and one of the people who knew about it was film producer Niel Arce, who is supposedly dating the actress.

In a video posted on Locsin's Instagram page, Arce can be seen escorting Locsin as she makes her way to the surprise celebration. The clip even caught Arce handing Locsin a bouquet of flowers.

In the caption, Locsin wrote: “So this is the feeling of being surprised. Thank you to everyone who came & to those behind this beautiful surprise.”

Another video shows Arce seated beside Locsin as the actress blows the candles on her birthday cake.

On his own Instagram page, Arce posted a picture of him with Locsin where he greeted the actress a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday Gel! Amazing what 7 years of friendship has done to us! Excited to see what's next,” he wrote.

Rumors linking Locsin and Arce began after they were allegedly spotted spending Holy Week together with some of their friends.

This comes after Locsin admitted in a recent interview that she is seeing a new guy after her breakup with Luis Manzano last year.

"Okay naman siya, tumitibok-tibok. Lumalabas ako ngayon, yes. Lumalabas ako ngayon. Kaka-start din naman. Huwag na nating pangunahan but happy heart naman," Locsin said.
