MANILA - Actress Jessy Mendiola took to social media to greet her boyfriend, actor-host Luis Manzano, who turned 36 on Friday.

Mendiola did not hold back on expressing her love for Manzano, saying: "Happy birthday, my love! Thank you for making me believe in love again. So much has happened, but here I am, falling more in love with you each day."

She continued: "You make people happy just by being yourself and I am very proud of that. You deserve good things because you are a good person inside and out. I love you very much and I will always be your Chopie."

In a previous interview, Manzano described his relationship with Mendiola as "very, very steady."

The couple started going public about their relationship late last year.

Prior, they shied away from the spotlight, especially since Mendiola was tagged as the reason behind Manzano's breakup with actress Angel Locsin.
