MANILA - "Hindi ko alam kung ano ang sasabihin dahil sobrang saya ko ngayon," said actress Ritz Azul, a former contract artist of TV 5, after signing with the Kapamilya network on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old Azul, who was part of FHM Philippines' list of the 100 Sexiest Women in the Country from 2013 to 2015, started her career when she joined the talent search "Star Factor."

She has since appeared in a number of television shows for both TV 5 and GMA-7. Her first project as a Kapamilya will be a guest role in the hit primetime series "Ang Probinsyano" starring Coco Martin.

"Lagi ko rin ng sinasabi sana makatrabaho ko si Coco Martin kasi ang dami kong naririnig na magagandang comments sa kanya, mga reviews," she told reporters.

Azul also admitted that she could not turn down the offer from the Kapamilya network. "Paano mo tatanggihan eh ABS-CBN yan?"

"Tapos sabi niya [Dreamscape head Deo Endrinal], 'developmental to, ide-develop ka namin.' And siyempre sa akin naman kapag sinabing ABS, kung gusto mo mag-grow as an artist, ABS lang kaya don pa lang hindi na ako makakatanggi talaga," she explained.

Azul will also be co-managed by Star Magic. "Kasi dati tinitingnan ko lang 'yung catalogue tapos ang gaganda ng mga suot nila, 'yung mga make-up nila ang gaganda," she shared.

"Mayroong parang isang kiliti sa isip ko na kung mapasama kaya ako sa magazine na ito tapos ngayon part na ako ng Star Magic."
