MANILA - Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West arrived in Manila early Saturday.

His plane landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 5:22 a.m. but did not give interviews.

West is in the Philippines to perform with "See You Again" rapper Wiz Khalifa at the Paradise International Music Festival this weekend.

This show marks the first visit of the artist in the Philippines.

West, who is married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian, just released his latest album "The Life of Pablo" last February. Khalifa released his last album, "Khalifa," on the same month.

The two artists, last January, were in a heated Twitter feud over West's move to change the name of his new album from "Swish" to "Waves".

Khalifa said West hadn't given rapper Max B enough credit for popularizing the term "wavy."

Their feud ended up dragging Kardashian and Khalifa's child with model Amber Rose.

West and Khalifa have since patched things up.
