MANILA -- One of the better ways to deal with a bitter breakup is to not dwell on it too much. Erich Gonzales would agree, adding she is currently enjoying life as a single woman.

Speaking to DZMM's Ariel Ureta and Winnie Cordero, the actress, when asked about it, echoed what she has said in the past and said she is moving forward from her failed relationship with Daniel Matsunaga.

"Katulad po ng sinabi ko, I am moving forward and I'm enjoying my single life. And katulad nga po ng sinabi ni sir Ariel, in Spanish, 'La vida sigue.' In English, life goes on," she said.

Gonzales made a guest appearance on the radio show to promote an upcoming episode of the legal drama "Ipaglaban Mo," where she plays an undercover cop looking to take down a drug-trafficking den.

The episode, which airs on Saturday, also stars Arjo Atayde as her boyfriend.

"Lagi natin siyang nakikita as Joaquin (sa 'Ang Probinsyano') at laging galit sa mundo. Dito ay iba naman for a change. Siya 'yung parang girl sa relationship," Gonzales said.

Last month, Gonzales announced her split with Matsunaga, ending their two-year romance.

According to one of her friends, makeup artist RB Chanco, Gonzales has already settled things "peacefully" with her "Be My Lady" co-star and has begun to "move separate from each other’s lives."
