MANILA -- For the first-time ever, Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis had a kissing scene, which was part of the Lenten special of "It's Showtime" on Wednesday.

In "Love Spell, Spell Love," Juliet (Curtis) tries to win the heart of Romeo (Navarro ) who looks like her former boyfriend who passed away.

Navarro revealed that the story actually came from his long-time girlfriend Tanya Bautista. "May kaunti kaming idinagdag pero sa kanya ('yung story). Si Tanya fan ng Vhong-Anne talaga," he said.

Although he and Curtis are often teased to each other on the noontime show, Navarro said he felt awkward shooting the kissing scene.

"Ang nakakailang sa aming dalawa, 'yun ang unang kinunan, 'yun ang unang eksena," Navarro said.

"Buti na lang si Vhong kaya kumportable na agad," added Curtis, who praised the story.

"Napakaganda ng istorya. Nagpapatunay na minsan hindi ka maka-get over sa mahal mo. Minsan kapag [namatayan] ng girlfriend, boyfriend o asawa, hindi ka maka-move on, sinasara mo ang sarili mo sa opportunities na magmahal ka muli. 'Yun ang sinasabi namin na you have to open your heart again. May healing process na pagdadaanan, hindi pwedeng madaliin. Pero you can not shut your doors forever," Curtis said.
