Openly gay singer Kaye Cal revealed on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" that her parents have yet to accept her sexuality.

Speaking on the late-night show, Cal opened up about her experiences being a lesbian, sharing: "Actually mahirap kasi iyong parents ko, up to now, parang hindi pa rin nila tanggap."

"Especially iyong same-sex relationship, it's parang hindi pwede talaga para sa kanila," she said of her Christian parents.

Nevertheless, Cal said she still feels loved by her family. "Para naman sa akin, ito ako. Tapos naniniwala ako na mahal pa rin ako ng Panginoon," she explained.

She made a guest appearance on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" to promote her self-titled debut album, which is now available in record bars nationwide. It is produced by Star Music.
