The singer-songwriter congratulated the Negros Occidental native for his win through an e-mail sent to local concert organizer Danee Samonte, one of the producers of the recent Air Supply concert in the Philippines.

Belleza won "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on Saturday, earning a near-perfect combined judges' score and text votes (99.96 percent), defeating other favorites Sam Mangubat and Froilan Canlas.
