A healthy dose of nostalgia is set to hit Philippine TV when a remake of the popular drama "Meteor Garden" premieres.

And helping amp up the excitement is this video of the new cast singing along to the show's original theme song, "Qing Fei De Yi," which wormed its way into Filipino fans' heads during the 2000s.

The short clip was uploaded by fans on Facebook over the weekend, and already gives a glimpse of the chemistry between leads Dylan Wang, who was cast as Dao Ming Si, and Shen Yue, who bagged the spunky Shan Cai role, playfully holding hands.

The much-anticipated remake is being developed by the show's original creator Angie Chai.

As with previous iterations, it will be based off the Japanese manga, "Hana Yori Dango." This is the third remake, following versions from Japan and South Korea. All three aired on Philippine television.

ABS-CBN has already acquired the rights to the "Meteor Garden" remake, even if the series has yet to receive a release date.
