If their show-stopping numbers on Friday were anything to go by, Rachel Gabreza and Froilan Canlas are more than capable of winning "Tawag ng Tanghalan."

The two moved past the semifinals as wildcards to set up a mouth-watering conclusion to the talent contest, which began its search for the country's best amateur singer more than a year ago.

On Saturday, Gabreza and Canlas were revealed to have received the highest number of combined judges scores and text votes among the wildcards. Their scores were based on their performances on Friday's "It's Showtime," where Gabreza belted out "Love Will Lead You Back" and Canlas delivered a heart-tugging cover of "Sa Ugoy ng Duyan."

Jex de Castro and Dominador Aviola Jr. were eliminated.

Gabreza, who joined "Tawag ng Tanghalan" to help her brother with cancer, and Canlas, whose offbeat renditions of popular hits are becoming a favorite of the judges, will join a talented roster of singers in the grand finals.

They will go against the likes of blind balladeer Carl Malone Montecido and YouTube star Sam Mangubat. The other grand finalists are Mary Gidget Dela Llana, Maricel Callo, Marielle Montellano, Pauline Agupitan, Eumee Capile, and Noven Belleza.

The grand finals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" will start on Monday.
