MANILA -- Kapamilya artists Sarah Geronimo and Jona lead this year's MYX Music Awards nominees with five nods each, including Female Artist of the Year.

James Reid, meanwhile, had four nominations, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for "Cool Down."

Darren Espanto also had four nominations, including two for his collaboration with Jed Madela "I'll Be There."

The MYX Music Awards 2018 nominees were revealed on Wednesday.

Geronimo's "Misteryo" will compete against Bamboo's "C@ll," Reid's "The Life," Karencita's "Cebuana" and Glaiza de Castro's "Sa 'Yo Pa Rin" for Music Video of the Year.

Apart from Reid's "Cool Down," nominated for Song of the Year are "Kaibigan Mo" by Sarah Geronimo featuring Yeng Constantino, "Ano Na Nga Ba Tayo" by Jona, "Sa 'Yo Pa Rin" by Glaiza de Castro and "Titibo-Tibo" by Moira dela Torre.

The MYX Music Awards 2018 will be held on May 15 at Araneta Coliseum.

Voting will end on May 8 at 11:59 p.m.
