MANILA – Is there no more chance for Sam Concepcion and Jasmine Curtis-Smith to rekindle their romance?

This was the question of some netizens after Jasmine was spotted with a non-showbiz guy in a picture posted by her sister Anne on Instagram.

In an interview with the entertainment site PEP, Jasmine finally broke her silence about the man in the said photo, who was identified as Jeff Ortega, and maintained that she never tried to hide anything from the public.

“Well, she [Anne] posted it right in front of me. So I was like, 'Oh, okay, pinost niya na. Okay, I guess na-launch na. No going back.' It's not naman I'm hiding it or whatever. It was just like, that's the part of me that I want to myself first before people will eventually find out,” she said.

The younger Curtis said she has been seeing the same man even before the controversy involving her and Anne’s boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff, surfaced.

“I was already seeing the guy when that whole Snapchat thing happened. I could've easily posted a photo with him and killed the whole controversy. But I'm not going to use that just to defend myself. I don't need to explain myself. So ‘yun, I just wanted it to come out by itself,” she said.

Now that everybody knows she is seeing someone, Jasmine said: “Whatever comes out as public information, [I would like it to happen] as natural as possible. But now, everyone knows I'm happy.”
