MANILA -- ABS-CBN's hit primetime teleserye "Pangako Sa 'Yo" ended Friday, February 12, almost 10 months after it first aired on May of 2015.

The finale was jampacked with action and drama, as Claudia (Angelica Panganiban) and Mark (Dominic Roque) tried to finish off lead protagonists Yna (Kathryn Bernardo) and Amor (Jodi Sta. Maria).

The protagonists survived from the cruel hands of the villains.

Angelo (Daniel Padilla) rescued Amor and Yna to give a happy ending to the show. But his heroism came with a price. As soon as he convinced Claudia to let go of them, Mark surfaced and shot him.

After seeing her own son fall bleeding on the floor, Claudia shot Mark and tried to run away with Angelo, Yna, and Amor. But as they were about to leave the old warehouse, Mark drew all his strength together and shot Claudia.

Angelo bled profusely in the ambulance. Before he passed out, he was able to give his handwritten vow to Yna. It contained the promise he was not able to say during their wedding night.

After recovering in the hospital, Claudia faced the crimes she committed. Without any hesitation, she admitted killing four people: Caloy (Joem Bascon), Diego (Bernard Palanca), David (Diego Loyzaga), and Mark (Dominic Roque).

"Gusto kong malaman ninyong lahat na nagsisisi ako sa mga ginawa ko. At handa kong pagbayaran ang lahat," she said

Although she could never change what happened, Claudia tried to seek forgiveness from the people and families she hurt. She also asked for her children's forgiveness, in hope that she will regain their respect and love one day.

After giving her statement, Claudia was escorted out of the court. But before they could leave, Amor held Claudia's arm and wished for her repentance.

"Hindi man kita mapatawad ng buong buo sa ngayon. Pero daan ito para sa hustisya," she said.

The final episode of "Pangako Sa 'Yo" marked the beginning of a new life for its characters, who can finally fulfill their promises to one another.

Amor and Eduardo are finally free to love each other and start a new life together.

Claudia, who lost her eyesight, has all the time to repent for her sins and make up to her children even though she is in jail.

Yna and Angelo, on the other hand, can continue their wedding and no one can ever separate them again.

"Mamahalin kita ngayon hanggang sa habang panahon, pangako sa 'yo," Angelo said.

Ten months of intense confrontation, "kilig" and revelation ended in one night. "Pangako Sa 'Yo" will be remembered by viewers who learned to love and forgive because of the hit teleserye.
