He acknowledged that it might be too early for him to enter a new romantic relationship following his breakup with his girlfriend.

But that doesn't mean that Carlo Aquino isn't willing to go on dates.

During his interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Friday, the actor invited his former girlfriend, Angelica Panganiban, to dinner.

This, after he was asked for his message for the "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes" star, whom he broke up with when they were still in their teens.

Explaining that Panganiban was his first love, Aquino said that he likes the actress for her tendency to be super sweet.

"Masarap talaga siyang kasama," he shared. "Kapag masaya, masaya. Kapag kinausap mo ng seryoso, seryoso."

Aquino's invitation comes weeks after Panganiban said that she's open to going out to dinner with her ex.

But this was also after she acknowledged that she's in no rush to find love again, adding that she wants to be "whole" first before she starts dating.
