MANILA – After his primetime series “Till I Met You,” JC Santos was tapped to be part of “Ghost Bride,” a Star Cinema film to be headlined by Kim Chiu and Matteo Guidicelli.

“Sobrang saya kasi wala naman akong ine-expect. Akala ko pagkatapos ng ‘Till I Met You,’ babalik na ako sa theater. And then may offer ang Star Cinema sa akin na sobrang wow. It’s very heartwarming naman na mabigyan pa rin ako ng pagkakataon para makapag-share ng talent,” he said.

Since this will be his first time to work with Chiu, Santos shared that he is feeling a little anxious about what to expect.

“Gusto ko na malaman kung paano mangyayari 'yung chemistry. So far siya lang ang kaeksena ko halos. Medyo may pressure kasi alam ko matagal na si Kim sa industriya tapos ako bago pa lang. Hindi ko pa alam kung anong mangyayari lalo na sa first day. Wala akong choice kundi galingan,” he said.

“Ghost Bride” is a horror story based on Chinese tradition of ghost marriages.

To be directed by veteran filmmaker Chito Roño, the movie will also feature Alice Dixson, Beverly Salviejo, Mon Confiado, Rio Locsin and Jerome Ponce, among others.
