MANILA - Prior to her sultry and vengeful turn as Lily Cruz in "Wildflower," Maja Salvador played a feisty cop in "Ang Probinsyano" opposite Coco Martin.

The 29-year-old actress was part of the original cast of "Ang Probinsyano" when it premiered in September 2015, and stayed on as SPO1 Glenda "Glen" Corpuz for nearly a year until her character's exit.

In the story, which follows Martin as the hero cop Cardo, Glen parted ways with her "pards" to head back to her hometown in Botolan, Zambales to take care of her ailing mother.

Half a year later in February 2017, Salvador returned to primetime television via "Wildflower", this time as the mysterious and seductive Ivy Aguas -- a far cry from her boyish take on Glen.

With Ivy's real identity revealed as the vengeful Lily and "Wildflower" nearing its end, is there a chance Salvador will return as Glen in the still ongoing "Ang Probinsyano"?

The actress was asked this during the thanksgiving press conference of "Wildflower," which is counting down its last two weeks after numerous extensions on air.

Salvador, whose acting career is approaching its 15th year, was also asked if she has grown more particular with the roles she accepts to portray on the small or big screen.

The prized Kapamilya star then turned to her "Wildflower" co-star, screen veteran Tirso Cruz III, who was seated beside her during the press conference.

Salvador, citing Cruz's advice at the time, likened actors to products -- "nag-re-repackage, nag-iiba ng hitsura, may ibang offers." Her conscious effort to do so, she surmised, helped her achieve longevity in the business.

"Wildflower," which also stars Aiko Melendez, Sunshine Cruz, and Zsa Zsa Padilla, airs weeknights before "TV Patrol" on ABS-CBN's primetime block.
