It's confirmed: A sequel for '100 Tula Para kay Stella' is in the works

MANILA -- It was one of the hits from the 2017 edition of Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, earning an extended run.
And now it looks like Viva Films decided that "100 Tula Para kay Stella" deserves a sequel.
It will still star JC Santos as Fidel, a college student with a speech impediment who, in the original movie, secretly writes loves poems for her crush, fellow freshman Stella, played by Bela Padilla.
Jason Paul Laxamana is also returning as its director. He confirmed the news on Twitter, sharing an early poster for the follow-up.
The original is currently available for viewing on Netflix.
The announcement comes less than a week before another movie starring Padilla and Santos, "On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets," is set to premiere in local theaters. It will debut February 5.
