MANILA - Film and TV Director Maryo J Delos Reyes has passed away, his manager June Rufino confirmed Saturday evening.

Rufino said Delos Reyes died around 10 p.m. Saturday after suffering a heart attack while attending a party with a friend in Dipolog City.

Delos Reyes directed the films "Magnifico" starring Jiro Manio, "A Love Story" starring Aga Muhlach, Angelica Panganiban and Maricel Soriano and "Naglalayag" starring Nora Aunor, Aleck Bovick and Yul Servo.
