MANILA - Batangas Governor and actress Vilma Santos appeared on "It's Showtime" on Saturday to promote her upcoming film, the romantic-drama "Everything About Her."

There, the 62-year-old Santos was reunited with her former onscreen partner, director Edgar "Bobot" Mortiz, who was one of the judges of the hit singing contest "Tawag ng Tanghalan."

Their love team, fondly referred to as "Vi and Bot," was launched through the 1970 film, "Young Love." The two went on to star in several other local movies.

"Malaking karangalan para sa amin ang bumalik ulit dito dahil pamilya naman namin ang 'It's Showtime,'" Santos said during her return to the noontime program.
