MANILA -- Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa is probably one of the most endearing Philippine National Police chiefs in recent memory. He's prone to his emotions and he appears genuinely excited over guesting in television shows or meeting celebrities -- a contrast to perhaps the tough and borderline dull image of past officials.

A further example of this can be found at the concert of Bryan Adams last night at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday night. Uncaring whether someone sees him or not, Dela Rosa was photographed screaming his support for the Canadian rocker.

A camera crew of ABS-CBN News was also able to get video confirmation of Dela Rosa at the concert, happily sitting at one of the front rows of the venue.

For his performance in Manila -- his first in 20 years-- Adams performed a total of 31 songs, according to organizer Wilbros Live. Adams himself seemed to enjoy the experience, posting a shot Filipino crowd shortly afterwards, writing: "Manila, great singing tonight."

One of the songs he played was "Can't Stop This Thing We Started." Check out a video of it below:

This isn't the first time Dela Rosa was spotted at a music event. Early this week, he was seen taking the stage at a local rock festival.
