According to Mananquil’s sister Rissa, the two already exchanged vows at an intimate church ceremony three days before their beach wedding.

It was held at Santuario de San Antonio Church in Forbes Park, Makati and only the couple’s immediate families and principal sponsors were present.

Among Magalona and Mananquil’s principal sponsors include Bench owner Ben Chan, celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres, comedian Michael V., who was Francis Magalona’s best friend, and singer Gary Valenciano.

“The newlyweds requested us to share this only after the Boracay celebration,” Rissa wrote on Instagram. “It was so private, there weren’t even any coordinators. The couple just spoke over the mic to gather everyone and start the solemn ceremony.”

Unlike their all-white beach wedding, Magalona and Mananquil asked their church wedding guests to wear black suits for men and blush pink for women.
