MANILA – Gabby Concepcion did not let the day pass without greeting his former wife, Sharon Cuneta, a happy birthday.

Through Instagram, Concepcion snapped a photo of Cuneta, who was then on “ASAP” where she marked her special day as well as her 40th anniversary in show business.

“Happy Birthday... safe from all the storms,” the actor wrote in the caption before tagging Cuneta and their daughter KC.

Concepcion’s simple greeting sent netizens, especially their avid fans, abuzz as they flooded the post with joyful comments.

Prior to that, Concepcion also visited Cuneta’s Instagram page and took a screen capture of it. Across the photo, he wrote: “Happy birthday. Nagmamahal Gabby Concepcion.”

Concepcion and Cuneta were supposed to reunite onscreen nearly 25 years since they last worked together in the 1992 film "Tayong Dalawa."

The project, however, was shelved with Concepcion explaining that he had just signed a fresh contract with a rival network when the project was being conceptualized.

Despite this, Cuneta is still open to do a movie with her former husband.
