Korean pop idol CL, former leader of disbanded group 2NE1, shared clips from an unreleased music video of a solo song on Instagram, Tuesday.

In a message posted on Instagram, CL said the song was part of unreleased music she made in 2017 and that the music video was shot over a year ago.

The Korean hip-hop artist bared that she only leaked bits of the video, adding that she may get in trouble for not asking permission from her agency.

It remains unclear if a full version of the song or music video will be released.

CL, whose full name is Lee Chae-rin, rose to fame when she debuted in 2009 as the leader of 2NE1, alongside Sandara Park.

The group, however, disbanded in November 2016.

CL also released an American debut single, "Lifted," in August 2016.

CL and Park went to the Philippines last year for a short vacation in Palawan.
