MANILA - Businesses related to fire and communications will click in 2017, the year of the fire rooster, an astrologer feng shui expert said Friday.

The new lunar year, which will start in late January, will favor marketing, advertising and sales, Hanz Cua told ANC's "Headstart."

"Ang rooster kasi, communications ang skill niya so gamitin natin skills natin sa communication para kumita ng pera," he said.

(The rooster's skill is communication so we should make use it to earn money.)

"Because of the fire element in 2017, the lucky business will be food, restaurants, LPG, gas station, electronics, technology... LED solar panels, mga ilaw (lights)," Cua added.

Cua said the year of the fire rooster will be "a year of opportunities".

Wearing gold, beige, brown, light green, and light yellow may help enhance one's luck, he said.

The year's lucky charms, he said, include crystals jade, rose quartz, and tiger's eye.
