MANILA - BDO Unibank, the country's largest lender, on Thursday reported a 17-percent jump in net income in the third quarter.

The bank controlled by the country's richest man, Henry Sy, said net income attributable to shareholders rose to P7.08 billion in the July to September period, bringing the 9-month total to P20.4 billion, up 5.4 period from the comparable period in 2016.
