MANILA – Manila Electric Co., the country’s largest power distributor, said Wednesday it entered into a joint venture with Blue Energy Holdings and Management Corp. for hydroelectric projects.

Meralco told the stock exchange it would subscribe to 3,124,999 shares in its joint venture company with Blue Energy, with a par value of P1 per share.
