MANILA - San Miguel Corp said Wednesday its property unit would build a resort complex in Nabas, Aklan, including a Marriott-branded hotel with 400 rooms.

The development may also include a convention center, ocean park, and entertainment and recreational facilities, San Miguel told the stock exchange, confirming a report on the Business Mirror newspaper.

Nabas and neighboring Malay town is home to the Boracay airport, owned and maintained by San Miguel affiliate Trans Aire Development Holdings.
