MANILA - Ramon Ang's Eagle Cement Corp. announced Monday that it has formed an expanded supply partnership with construction firm EEI Corp.

Eagle said the deal was sealed as the company prepares to raise production with the completion of its third production line in Bulacan by early 2018, bringing the company's capacity up to 7.1 million metric tons per year.

At present, Eagle is exclusively supplying the P37.4 billion Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 Project and the P62.7 billion MRT-7 Project, which are both being built by EEI.

Eagle and EEI said the partnership comes amid the government's plan to spend more than P8 trillion pesos on infrastructure during the term of President Rodrigo Duterte.
