MANILA - Real estate firm Premiere Horizon Alliance said Thursday its subsidiary was in talks with the Dusit Group for tourism projects in Palawan, including 3 hotels.
The company told the stock exchange that its unit, West Palawan Premiere Development Corp, signed a memorandum of understanding with the hotel developer to evaluate potential synergies.
The Dusit Group will look into the possibility of establishing its 3 brands, Dusit Thani, Dusit D2 and Dusit Princess in Puerto Princesa City, according to the disclosure.
It is also looking at providing equity for the 100-hectare North Cove Development, billed as the first eco-tourism estate in Puerto Princesa City that features both beach front and mountainside residential and leisure offerings.
"The market continues to be strong. We believe this will be an excellent partnership that will enable us to build an outstanding mixed-use township that will offer various lifestyle choices to our target markets", PHA chairman Augusto Antonio C. Serafica said.
