MANILA – The transportation and public works departments on Wednesday broke ground on a bridge that will to cut to 12 minutes the one-hour-long drive between the Bonifacio Global City and Ortigas business districts.

The nearly one-kilometer long, 4-lane roadway that will cross the Pasig River is one of several projects aimed at easing traffic in Metro Manila.
