MANILA - Flag carrier Philippine Airlines on Friday said its new A350-900 XWB has completed its first flight from the Airbus assembly line in Toulouse, France.

This marks the final phase of the production process leading to customer acceptance and delivery in the coming weeks, PAL said in a statement.

The airline has ordered 6 A350-900s for its premier long haul services from Manila to destinations in North America and Europe.

The XWB features an Airspace cabin which provides better ambience, design and services contributing to "superior levels of comfort and well-being," setting new standards in flight experience, PAL said.
