MANILA (UPDATED) - The country's richest man, Henry Sy, has handed over leadership of SM Investments Corp to one of his most trusted aides, former chief finance officer Jose Sio.

In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Sio shares 5 rules in life that helped him climb up the leadership ladder in the country's biggest mall, banking and real estate empire.

- "First rule, I should accept that you and I are different persons. Therefore I should not expect you to behave the way I want you to behave. At the same time, if you accept that, then you can go anywhere, meet anybody without any problems."
