A Singapore to Manila Cebu Pacific flight on Tuesday was cancelled due to a fire alarm at the Changi Airport in Singapore.

In a statement, Cebu Pacific said its A330 aircraft to be used by flight 5J 806 (Singapore-Manila) was parked at the terminal two of Changi Airport, where a fire alarm broke at around 5:30p.m.

The alarm caused an evacuation and ceased all operations in the airport.

“All passengers on that flight are safe," the airline said.

"To recover affected guests, CEB has mounted flight 5J 806D, scheduled to depart Singapore for Manila at 10:00AM on May 17, 2017," Cebu Pacific said Tuesday night.

Passengers in Cebu Pacific’s earlier Manila to Singapore flight, 5J 805, are also safe.

Cebu Pacific said the situation may delay another two flights: 5J 547 (Cebu-Singapore); and 5J 803 (Manila-Singapore).

“We regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused, and sincerely hope for understanding,” the statement read.
