MANILA - The University of the Philippines has unseated fellow state-run Polytechnic University of the Philippines as the school that gives the most 'quality hires,' according to a study released Wednesday.

The Sta. Mesa-based PUP, however, was the main source of fresh graduates for employers, according to the study by recruitment website Jobstreet.com.

These schools gave employers their best fresh graduate hires, according to the Jobstreet survey.

2. Polytechnic University of the Philippines
3. Ateneo de Manila University
4. University of Sto. Tomas
5. De La Salle University
6. Technological Institute of the Philippines
7. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila
8. Far Eastern University
9. Mapua Institute of Technology
10. Adamson University

These schools provide the most number of fresh hires to employers.
